A rapidly growing Retail foodbusiness operating in the fast casual healthy fast food space.  Thebusiness is expanding rapidly and now needs a dedicated finance member tosupport its expansion plans.  Currently operating throughout Sydney in keyEastern suburbsand CBD locations with head office located in Alexandria along with itsmanufacturing facility.

This is a great opportunity tojoin an entrepreneurial and experienced team in a fast growing retail healthbusiness.  You will be working closely with the Managing Director andexecutive team, being responsible for all aspects of the accounting/bookkeeping function to drive rigour, reduce cost and enhance insight into keyareas of business performance across both the retail and manufacturingoperations.  We are a growing multi site operator and you will ensurecontrols in respect of revenue and cost are enhanced across the store networkwith the aim to drive profits.

The Junior Accountant duties arebroad, varied and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

·        Accounts receivable management,debtor reconciliations and monthly reporting

·        Invoicing and receipt processingand data entry with accuracy

·        Accounts payable processing andmanagement, credit card management

·        Bank reconciliations

·        Assisting with reparation ofmonthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internalmanagement reports and cashflow statements

·        Assisting managing thegeneral ledger including overseeing the monthly balance sheet, banking andinter-company reconciliations

·        Assisting the weekly cashflow reporting and cash reconciliations across deposits

·        Assisting in the preparation ofyear end statutory accounts

·        Assisting with the budgeting andforecasting

·        Assisting in process improvementand systems enhancement initiatives

·        Proactively assist toidentify new initiatives that could benefit the organisation.

The skills and attributes thatare most needed for this role may include:

·        No experience request as we willprovide the training

·        Be a team player and aself-starter who can get the work done and resolve issues when needed

·        Be well organised and takeresponsibility for own performance

·        Skills developed across foodretail are an advantage having worked in a Financial Accountant capacity -highly regarded

·        Have commercial and businessacumen with the ability to understand and report on business wide trends

·        Process and deadline drivenmindset with a keen eye for detail

·        Be dynamic, flexible and willingto learn

·        Critical thinking andproblem-solving skills

·        Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills

·        Advanced computer softwareskills, including Excel, powerpoint, word and other financial software andtools for reporting and analysis purposes (Xero)

·        Must have previous experienceusing accounting software (e.g. Xero)

·        Be degreequalified, majoring in accounting
